Welcome to Goofy Can Cook!
My name is Karen, I’m 26 years old, and currently live in Austin, Texas with my husband Jordan. We’re originally from California, and we hope to make it back there soon. I’m very lucky to live by most of my immediate family and have the opportunity to work as a nanny for my two adorable nephews. When I’m not working you can usually find me in the kitchen or blogging. I try and exercising almost every day of the week, as long as I do something active. I love traveling to Walt Disney World with my family. Jordan and I were married there in 2010.
This is where I share my love of cooking, nutrition, and domestication. I’ll share my favorite recipes, how-to-photos, and any tips and tricks I pick-up along the way. I hope this blog inspires others to spend more time in the kitchen cooking delicious food. While I strive for optimal nutrition, I also love to bake. I’ve recently got gluten free and dairy free, as well as refocused my diet on mostly plant based nutrients along with high-quality meats for protein,.
Goofy is my favorite Disney character and how I often feel in the kitchen. I wish I could say I am a perfectly organized efficient cook, but I’m not. I’ll be the first to spill or drop something. I hope that I can inspire other people to cook because no one is perfect. If Goody can cook, you can too!
I hope you enjoy Goofy Can Cook, please feel free to e-mail me with any questions or comments! jackson (dot) karenc @ gmail (dot) com.
